Exciting News At The London Animal Hospital

Spring is seeing many changes in the Cuffe Vets family, including a brand new hospital!

Last month we welcomed two new staff members, Sarah and Jenny. Sarah is a student veterinary nurse from the RVC. Emma, her clinical coach will be teaching her practical skills in blocks in between her theory study at the college. Her bright personality and willingness to get stuck in has been a real help to the nursing team out the back. Jenny, Mum of two is helping out part time two days a week. She previously worked for Companion Care in Luton before going on maternity leave to start a family. Her skills have become a great asset to our team.

Holly will soon be leaving us to go on maternity leave with the upcoming arrival of her first child. We wish her all the best and can't wait to meet the new addition. Nimmy, our receptionist who went on maternity leave last year will be returning full time to our front desk. Ann-Marie, who was covering her leave will stay on and is looking towards training as a veterinary nurse later in the year.

Next month Dave and Hannah, who have been running around like mad hatters will have a very large sigh of relief when they finally get to open The London Animal Hospital. Based in Camberwell this exciting new project will be a day practice as well as a 24hr 7 day a week emergency service. All the staff here are delighted that we will have somewhere to send our patients to for overnight care.

As for the rest of us, it is all systems go as usual as we prepare for a busy Spring and Summer with all our favourite patients.
