Welcome to The London Animal Hospital
We believe we can do better. Much better.
I’m Dave Cuffe and I’ve been a practicing vet in South London for many years. For a long time, I’ve had one unfulfilled dream and that is to open a hospital.
For years I have watched time get in the way.
I’ve seen clients rush in at 8:45 in the morning, hoping to be seen immediately so they can still make it to work, or ring in at 6:45 to cancel the last appointment because their train is delayed or the cat has suddenly vanished. On Saturdays, they encounter a skeleton service with some cases inevitably delayed until Monday, phone that just ring and ring and overstretched, out-of-hours services that tell people to wait to see their own vet in the morning.
The reality is, our pets don’t keep regular office hours. That’s why we don’t either.
We’re the 24⁄7s. Which means we are going to be available for you 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We’ll start our morning consultations at 0700 and our last evening consultation will finish at 2100, with a team on-call ‘til the morning. The night team will overlap with the day team, crucially ensuring that every animal in our care will receive our full attention at all times.
If any of our Clapham patients need overnight care, we can accommodate them. And if you ring up out of hours, you won’t be told to wait ‘til morning. We will continue to operate as one, unified practice, with records of all of our patients at both clinics ensuring a customised service for every patient.
By being agile enough to operate as both a regular general practice and a 24⁄7 hospital with advanced facilities and specialists, we believe that we can truly be the animals’ advocate and help those that matter the most – your pets.
